IDI Gazeley Announces the Start of Inventory Development in the U.K.

Construction Underway on the Development of a 97,672 SF (9,074 SQ M) Logistics Warehouse at its G.Park Enfield Development Site in North London

LONDON, February 5, 2015 – IDI Gazeley (Brookfield Logistics Properties), a leading global investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has today announced the start of a programme of inventory development in the U.K. with the construction of a 97,672 SF (9,074 SQ M) logistics warehouse at its G.Park Enfield development site in North London.

The building will comprise of 92,204 SF (8,566 SQ M) of warehouse space with 4,736 SF (440 SQ M) of two storey office space. It will feature 12.5m clear internal height, 10 dock doors and 8 level access doors, 23 HGV parking spaces and 90 car parking spaces.

The building is expected to complete and be available for immediate occupation at the start of July this year. It sits on a 5.2 acre plot, adjacent to the 90,000 SF distribution centre previously developed by IDI Gazeley for leading supermarket retailer Tesco on a fast-track basis in just 9 weeks in 2012.

It will be developed to the BREEAM very good certification as standard with all new IDI Gazeley construction projects.

G.Park Enfield is situated in a prominent north London location, fronting the M25 between junction 25 and junction 26. Local occupiers include Iceland, BT, JLP, JJ Foods, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

The development is ideally placed for, e-commerce, logistics and retail warehousing requirements and operations.
