IDI Gazeley Announces 538,000 SF Lease at Interstate West

Shippers Warehouse leases building close to key transportation arteries

ATLANTA (March 13, 2017) – IDI Gazeley, a leading global investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, today announced that Shippers Warehouse Three, Inc. has leased 538,686 SF of space at its Interstate West property in Austell, Ga.

Shippers Warehouse selected Interstate West for the home of their new location due to its proximity to two of the submarkets’ major transportation arteries: Interstate 20 and Thornton Road. The submarket also provides Shippers Warehouse a desirable labor pool and a key corporate client base. IDI Gazeley partnered with Shippers Warehouse to create a state-of-the-art distribution facility that met both their immediate operational needs and long-term business goals.

The deal marks an expansion of the company’s current presence in Georgia and will enable them to increase efficiencies while helping to keep up with growing demand. The company is focused on warehousing, transportation management and fulfillment and packaging for their client, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company. This space will be used for storage, warehousing and distribution, manufacturing and assembly as well as research and development.

Strategically located in Cobb County, Interstate West features industry-leading innovations. Access to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and four major interstates (I-20, I-75, I-85 and I-285) make it one of Atlanta’s most desirable business/distribution locations.

Interstate West adds to the approximately 3 million square feet previously developed by IDI Gazeley in the I-20 West Submarket. The company is scheduled to construct an additional 500,000 SF in the submarket in 2017.
