IDI Gazeley Appoints New Global Chief Operating Officer

Kent D. Greenawalt brings more than 25 years of experience in operations and planning

ATLANTA, April 8, 2015 – IDI Gazeley, a leading global investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, today announced that Kent D. Greenawalt has joined the company as Global Chief Operating Officer. He will work closely with the global Development, Acquisition and Asset Management teams to continue to refine operating standards for the growing global platform and to help direct the implementation of strategic business plans. Greenawalt will participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team and will assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives with a strong focus on customer service. IDI Gazeley’s portfolio includes 59 million square feet of premier industrial buildings with available land sites to develop an additional 55 million square feet of distribution facilities in North America, the U.K., Europe and China. Greenawalt will be based in the company’s North America Core Support office in Atlanta.

Greenawalt steps into this role after serving as IDI Gazeley’s interim Chief Financial Officer for North America. He has more than 25 years of experience in property operations, including more than 10 years of experience in supporting AMB Property Corporation’s growth to 14 countries. In his 17 years at AMB Property Corporation, Greenawalt managed assets and markets throughout the United States, led operations in the eastern half of the country and headed Planning and Strategy for the Americas. After the merger with Prologis, he served on a wide spectrum of integration teams across asset management, lease administration, data governance and business systems. Greenawalt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Lehigh University and a Masters of Business Administration, Finance and Real Estate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

This announcement comes on the heels of Matt Berger being named as Chief Financial Officer for North America. He will serve as a member of the North America executive management team and be integral in formulating and monitoring responsibilities and initiatives across that platform He will also be based in the company’s North America Core Support office.
