Monroe Logistics Center is nearly 69 percent leased

CINCINNATI, February 25, 2013 – IDI, a leading full-service industrial real estate company, announced today that Ball Metal Beverage Container has signed a 168,298 square foot lease at IDI’s latest Cincinnati development, Monroe Logistics Center Building B. Ball Metal Beverage Container Corp. is a division of Ball Corporation, a provider of metal packaging for beverages, foods and household products.

“The shell of Monroe B was completed in December and this recent lease brings the park’s occupancy to 69 percent – evidence that our continued investment in Monroe is meeting the demands for users in this submarket,” said Doug Armbruster, IDI senior vice president and regional managing director for the Cincinnati market. “Our primary goal is to provide long-term value for our clients and we are confident Monroe B will do this for Ball Metal Beverage Container Corp.”

Monroe Logistics Center Building B will be the second and final building in the Monroe Logistics Center park. It is strategically located off SR 63 in metropolitan Cincinnati, just three-and-a-half miles west of I-75, 10 miles from I-275 and 26 miles to Dayton, Ohio. The 553,694 square foot building benefits from a 100 percent, 15-year tax abatement. Other tenants located in the park include Hayneedle and Appleton Papers.

IDI is continuing its development activities in Monroe at the newly rebranded Park North at SR 63 and I-75. IDI has an additional 651,000 square-foot building available for lease as well as 300 acres for development.  The properties benefit from a 100 percent 15 year tax abatement that provides lower occupancy costs for clients at either location.

To date, IDI has developed and acquired 17 million square feet across 12 business parks in the Cincinnati market, which covers Cincinnati, Louisville and Northern Kentucky, as well as Indianapolis, Indiana.

Chuck McCosh of Our Corporate Real Estate Department represented Ball Metal Beverage Container and Doug Armbruster and Si Pitstick represented IDI in the deal.
